The portal is run by Stripe, our payment provider; we never see your card details.
What happens when you cancel
- A monthly sponsorship ends at the close of the current paid month — no further payments are taken. A one-off sponsorship simply runs for its 12 months and is then removed (you can renew with a new one-off payment).
- Your name, dedication and links are removed from the website automatically.
- Your customer record (name, e-mail, address) is deleted from Stripe automatically on cancellation. Stripe keeps the bare payment records it is legally required to keep for accounting; we keep nothing else.
If you would like your details removed without cancelling (for example, to sponsor anonymously), use the portal to update your name to “Anonymous”.
