Banner advertising & affiliate links
A small number of discreet, clearly labelled “Supporter” banners from relevant companies — medal dealers, military publishers, battlefield tours, museums — appear in fixed positions on article, search and recipient pages. They never animate, pop up or interrupt the text, and all carry rel="sponsored". Some links on the site may be affiliate links, which cost you nothing and help with hosting.
